Museum Space Information

Daytime Rental:

Only the classroom is available for daytime rental.

Monday – Saturday, 8:00a.m.  5:00p.m.

  • $125 / hour for classroom 

After-hours Rentals:

Classroom or the entire rental space is available for evening rental.

Monday – Wednesday: 6:00p.m. – 10:00p.m.

  • $125 / hour for classroom
  • $200 per hour for the entire Rental Space

Thursday – Saturday: 6:00p.m. – 12:00a.m.

  • $150 / hour for classroom
  • $250 per hour for the entire Rental Space

*Sunday and Holiday Rentals: Please contact SLHF to discuss.

Please note, the Gift Shop is not available for rentable use or programming at any time.

Rental Deposit Information

Rental Deposit:  Payable to Sugar Land Heritage Foundation, due at signing:

Rental Space Deposit is 50% of Rental Fee.

Liability Insurance or Deposit:

Rental requires one of the following:

  1. Liability insurance policy
  2. Coverage through homeowner’s policy
  3. Special event insurance policy

If Client does not have one of the required insurances listed above:

  • Classroom Rental requires a Liability deposit of $750 due at signing.
  • Entire rental space requires a Liability deposit of $2,000 is due at signing.

Security Fee (if applicable):

Security is required by the City of Sugar Land if alcohol is served at the event and/or the attendance is greater than 150 attendees. Per SLPD policy, there are a minimum 4 hours charged per officer. The total Security Fee is due to SLPD 3 days before the event.
